Turnkey Renovation & Fit-Out Dubai: Coordinate Before You Build

Manage villa and interior renovation with coordinated scope, surveys, MEP, lighting, smart systems, finishes, sequencing, testing and handover.

A clear scope prevents expensive gaps

Renovation problems often appear between trades: who moves a socket, repairs the wall, provides a power supply, closes a ceiling or tests an interface. A coordinated scope assigns responsibilities before work starts.

Survey what is hidden as early as possible

Existing drawings may not match reality. Site investigation should confirm electrical panels, plumbing routes, HVAC constraints, ceiling voids, network infrastructure and any systems that will be retained. Unknown conditions should be identified as risks, not ignored.

Sequence technology with finishes

Smart-home panels, keypads, speakers, cameras, Wi-Fi points and curtain motors need decisions before final paint and joinery. Technology should be coordinated into the interior, not added after finishes are complete.

Handover is a project phase

Create snag lists, test systems, close defects, update drawings and manuals, clean the site and explain operation. A project is not complete because the construction team has left; it is complete when the owner can use and maintain the space.

Frequently asked questions

What should be surveyed before renovation?

Survey the existing layout, structure, electrical and plumbing services, HVAC, ceilings, finishes and any systems that may be retained. Hidden conditions and access constraints should be identified before finalizing scope.

Can smart home systems be added during renovation?

Yes. Renovation can be a good time to add control wiring, network infrastructure, sensors and panels because walls or ceilings may already be open. The design should be coordinated before finishes are reinstated.

How do you coordinate MEP and interiors?

Use coordinated drawings, agreed levels and routes, equipment schedules and regular site checks so electrical, plumbing, HVAC, joinery and automation requirements do not clash with the interior design.

What should be included at handover?

Handover should include testing, snag closure, relevant drawings and manuals, warranties, system credentials or backups where applicable, and clear guidance for operation and future maintenance.
